Hi sir. Please reply to this. I added payment invoices for suppliers and then paid in full . Is it done correctly? Or only credit invoices has to be paid in full ?

is it possible to post a journal against supplier account (When some other company pays your supplier and you want to create a loan to that company)?
BookkeepingMaster (6 months ago)
You cannot post journals directly to supplier accounts. You can post journals to the creditor control account but this will not show on an individual supplier account. I suggest you speak to your accountant and ask them how best to proceed. Thanks for watching.

I have taken over some accounts on sage and quite a few of the supplier accounts have lots of unallocated payments on account and invoices. This doesn't clear to nil. How can I clear the account and start again. The items cross over many tax years.

How can I reverse an allocated payment which has been made by mistake???
BookkeepingMaster (1 year ago)
It depends on which version of Sage you have. You may be able to un-allocate the transaction by opening the 'Activity' tab of the customer record. If not, you will need to delete the transaction and re-post it. Both of these procedures are included in the course. Fantastic - that makes so much sense. I had unallocated cheque balances and have done a number of searches to try and work out how to get rid of it and nothing much helped until now! Thank you!

Hi, could you please explain to me how I make a payment on accounts in euros and how I enter bank charges in euros? We have a euro account set up on Sage accounts 50. However, when I enter invoices, I have to convert the price into pounds. I know how to pay suppliers from sterling account, but it confuses me when I have to do it in foreign currency.

I was wondering if you can help. My Company uses Sage 50 Accounts Professional 2011. We received a credit note from a supplier that we have put on the account, they have now paid the amount of the credit note into our account. I was wondering how I allocate this?
BookkeepingMaster (3 years ago)
+Richard Paley In the supplier module there should be a credit note icon under tasks (on the left). Using this icon will allocate the credit note and transfer the bank money in. Using the credit icon at the top of the module will just post the credit note to Sage and not allocate any funds.

Hi how would i allocate purchase credits please?
BookkeepingMaster (3 years ago)
+Andrew Peter Moore The same. They should also appear in the same box. Email me if you are having difficulties.

Hi really helpful video - one question what do I do about deducting credit notes from an account prior to making a payment to a supplier.  Our credit notes do not relate to a specific invoice number
