Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance is a postgraduate Banking course. The MBA (Banking and Finance) program is designed with an objective to disseminate relevant knowledge and provide skills to students such that they function effectively in the challenging environment of the Banking, Finance and Insurance (BFSI) sector. Banking is the sector engaged in the business of keeping money for savings and checking accounts or for exchange or for issuing loans and credit etc. Finance sector on the other hand includes saving money and often includes lending money. The field of finance deals with the concepts of time, money, risk and how they are interrelated. It also deals with how money is spent and budgeted. The duration of M.B.A. in Banking and Finance is normally a two years program with two or more semesters but time duration may differ from institute to institute and may be on part time basis by certain institutes.

An MBA in Banking, Finance and Insurance combines the study of modern economics with banking and finance. Students of this specialization are introduced to a broad range of economic subjects, including banking, financial intermediation, asset and liability management, financial decision-making, financial markets and institutions, and accounting. The MBAs in BFSI usually work according to the product requirement of individuals or groups of people and help them with financial solutions.

• 10+2 Science with in either Arts/Science or Commerce is mandatory with at least 60% marks.
• Student has to be a graduate in any stream for example BA,B.Com, B.Sc or BBA to be considered for a Masters Program with at least 60% marks.
