Robinhood added options trading to their platform. Options gets confusing as they are not as simple as just buying and holding. A lot of factors make up the price and what the price of the options contract will be in the future. We go through the basics of how to buy and sell a call or put option. Excercising Options - How and why do you exercise an options contract? Put Options and Call options

04:50
Buy The Book Here: https://amzn.to/2CLG5y2 Follow Patrick on Twitter Here: https://twitter.com/PatrickEBoyle Exercising Options Calls and put options give the owner the right to buy or sell a stock at a certain price by a certain date. When the owner of that call or put option has an option that is "in-the-money" and decides to buy or sell the stock, it is said that they are "exercising" their option. However, just because an option is "in-the-money" it doesn't mean that it is always in the best interest of the option holder to exercise it. Most of the time the option owner is better off to just sell the option at the current market price. This is because the option price is usually higher than the "intrinsic value", or the amount the option is actually "in-the-money." At expiration date, it usually makes sense to exercise the option. When to Exercise a Call Option If you own a call option and the stock price is HIGHER than the strike price at expiration, then it makes sense for you to exercise your call. This way you can buy the stock at a lower price and immediately sell it in the market at the higher price. When to Exercise a Put Option If you own a put option and the stock price is LOWER than the strike price at expiration, then it makes sense for you to exercise your put. This way you can sell the stock at a higher price and immediately buy it back at the lower price. I will do another video shortly on when it is optimal to early exercise options. Trading options.

Call and Put options for Dummies

09:38
In finance, an option is a contract which gives the owner the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an underlying asset or instrument at a specified strike price on or before a specified date. The seller incurs a corresponding obligation to fulfill the transaction, that is to sell or buy, if the long holder elects to "exercise" the option prior to expiration. The buyer pays a premium to the seller for this right. An option which conveys the right to buy something at a specific price is called a call; an option which conveys the right to sell something at a specific price is called a put. Both are commonly traded, though in basic finance for clarity the call option is more frequently discussed, as it moves in the same direction as the underlying asset, rather than opposite, as does the put. http://www.garguniversity.com Check out Ebook "Mind Math" from Dr. Garg https://www.amazon.com/MIND-MATH-Learn-Math-Fun-ebook/dp/B017QEIF18

What is an Options Contract? ✅

06:07
What is an Options Contract? http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/ PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! What is call and put option in trading? We are going to do a series of videos on options trading. An option contract is a contract between a seller and a buyer. The seller is often referred to as the writer, the buyer is often called a holder. An option is the option to purchase a specific stock or other asset (stock, currency, index, commodity...etc) at a specific price at a specific time in the future. The buyer has the choice but not the obligation to exercise the option. The seller has the obligation if the buyer so requests it. 1) Underlying - the market 2) Strike Price - this is the price that the buyer of the option wants to have as his price level. 3) Expiration date - how far in the future does the option need to be valid for. 4) Type - is it a Put or a Call Option? A put option is the right to sell that underlying asset. A call option is a right to buy the underlying asset. Is it better to buy or sell Options? You may hear all kinds of statistics about it being better to sell options… or better to buy options. Throw those statistics away for a moment And consider your ability to take on the risk of being short an option. The BEST strategy is the strategy which best fits your risk tolerance. Whether you prefer to buy options or sell options will be answer by your behavioral biases, other decisions unrelated to finance which indicate your risk tolerance any number of measures will tell you how risk tolerant you are. If you choose to be a seller of options, then u should know how you brokerage firm operates and what they will allow you to do and what their fees are. Most firms will allow the following strategies - find out what they will charge you to: a) sell calls against stock (new stock or a stock purchased in the past and still owned) b) sell puts as long as you have enough equity to cover the strike amount in your trading account c) sell calls with a lower strike and buy a higher strike call to protect you from unlimited losses: i.e., sell $80 call and Buy $100 calL. (the most u can lose is $20 minus the net premium received for selling the call spread) d) sell puts with a higher strike and buy a lower strike put to protect you from unlimited losses i.e., sell an $80 put, but $60 put (the most you can lose is $20 minus the net premium received for call the put spread). If you choose to be. Buyer of options (or spreads) the most you can lose is the net premium spent. Once you find out how much your firm charges for these transactions you can determine which one best fits your time frame and trading style. Top 5 WORST Ab Exercise Mistakes!

07:13
Ab workouts with every program - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW When it comes to ab exercises, there are five big mistakes that you could be making that are preventing you from getting your six pack to show at its best. In this video, I’m going to show you the worst ab exercise mistakes that you could be making and more importantly, how to correct them. You will learn about the ab movements that work the best and the ones that are not worth your time. To start, it is important to discuss the role of nutrition in abs. Despite what some people will tell you or lead you to believe, you will never have great looking abs or a six pack if you do not get your nutrition in check first. What you eat and the diet you follow are crucial to seeing your ripped abs year round. If you refuse to eat healthy then you will never have body fat levels low enough to be able to see the results of your hard work in the gym. That said, it is time to discuss the exercise mistakes that you may be making but will be able to fix today. First is how much you may be cheating your reps on every ab exercise. Think about it. When you are doing crunches, do you ever pull on your neck? If so, you are likely doing this to trick your eyes into thinking that your shoulders are getting high enough off the ground to constitute a good rep. They are not. Likewise, you may be pushing into the ground with your hands or using momentum to swing your legs up while doing lower ab exercises. Neither of these are going to help you get a good contraction in your ab muscles and will limit the success you will see from your ab training over time. The next thing you could be doing is not training your abs frequently enough. Many people think that they will just get in their ab work with stabilization of the core on their bigger lifts. This simply isn’t true. If you want to get a ripped six pack you will need to include frequent direct ab training into your workouts. In fact, your squat and other big lifts will likely benefit from the inclusion of these extra ab workout sessions. Next, you will want to be sure that you are doing enough hanging ab exercises. Yes, they are more difficult but they are also more capable of delivering positive changes to your ab muscles than doing lots of reps of much easier ab movements. If you want to see your greatest success from training abdominals you will want to opt for some of these more challenging ab exercise options for sure. When it comes to ab development, one thing you want to avoid at all costs are bloated looking abs. One of the ways this happens most is by confusing the fact that you should be breathing out during contraction while at the same time pushing out. You want to learn to breathe out but contract down and cinch your waist tighter. You never want to push your belly out while contracting on a rep of your ab exercises. Finally, stop thinking about just your abs. If you start to see just how important the serratus, obliques and even your adductors are to the development of your core, you will see a real fast improvement in how your midsection looks. I have a complete video called the Holy Trinity of Ab Training that is a must watch if you want to see exercises for the obliques and serratus that will help you to get this right. You can also see here how to engage the adductors in almost any ab exercise to get more from it. The bottom line is, if you want to get great abs you have to start by avoiding these 5 worst ab exercise mistakes. Correcting them is not that hard. Once you have and you are ready for lots of new ab exercises that you can do, head to http://athleanx.com and pick the program that is best suited to your current goals. Exercise The implementation of the holder’s right to buy (call) or sell (put) the underlying security at the strike price of the option contract. Assignment Assignment occurs when the option seller is notified that the contract is being exercised. The option seller must fulfill this obligation by selling the underlying security at the agreed upon strike price if the call was sold or buying the underlying security at the agreed upon strike price if the put was sold. CALL and PUT Options Trading for Beginners in Stock Market (Hindi)

21:11
CALL and PUT Options Trading is very popular. In layman terms, for the call and put option buyers or holders, the loss is capped to the extent of the premium of the option but profit or gain is unlimited. CALL and PUT Options Trading is also used to find out the short term trend or sentiments of the stock or index. The option is a derivative that gives right but not an option to buy/sell a stock or index at a set price on or before a set date. On the other hand, futures give both right and obligation to the buyer or seller of the futures contract. However, technically speaking for option writers or sellers i.e. call writers and put writes, there is an obligation to honor the contract. In layman term, CALL is basically a deposit for the future purpose. If the strike price is hit then the call holders will gain and call writers will lose. On the other hand, put is basically an insurance used for hedging. If the strike price is hit the put holders or buyers will gain and put writers will lose. To summarize, Call holders and put writers are bullish on market whereas call writers and put buyers are bearish on the market. If you liked this video, You can "Subscribe" to my YouTube Channel. In order to have your abs to show, you need to reduce your body fat (have a decent diet that facilitates your body fat reduction) and perform cardio the 1st thing in the morning. Now that you have the body fat reduced, you need to develop the abs and create separations. Here's how... Alpha's Go To Ab Routine Basic bench crunch - after getting into position, keep legs slightly bent, come up and pause. Alpha gives alternates for less and more intense options. 15 reps with dumbbell then 15 reps without the weight. Do three (3) sets of 30 reps. Hanging Leg Raises - Alpha gives options to perform this exercise with pros and cons. It's about control, that little squeeze, and that little pause. He gives options to make the exercises less and more challenging. He also gives an option to hit the obliques. Go for three (3) sets. Cable Crunch - it's a personal favorite of Alpha but is more difficult to feel. Your butt doesn't move. Only the upper body moves with a pause. Go for 15 - 20, three (3) sets. The Ball Crunch - not the most masculine looking but one of the most effective. Chin to ceiling with the ball in the small of your back, go up, pause, and down. If you quiver, all of your muscles are engaged. You don't need to go super fast. Go 10 slow with a pause. Then go for 10 pulses. It's a great way to finish off those abs! String of two of these together for a superset. Alternate back and forth for 3 sets. Perform twice a week with a few days in between. If you squeeze, go slow, and contract, you'll feel it for days. Freeletics FREE Gym App is an option that Alpha has been using too. It's the best fitness app he's ever seen. Remember, no abs were ever seen without a low body fat percentage!

What is an Options Contract in Finance

08:08
Buy The Book Here: https://amzn.to/2CLG5y2 Follow Patrick on Twitter Here: https://twitter.com/PatrickEBoyle What are Financial Options? Options are a financial derivative sold by an option writer or seller to an option buyer. They are typically purchased through a broker. The contract gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call option) or sell (put option) the underlying asset at an agreed-upon price during a certain period of time or on a specific date. The agreed upon price is called the strike price. American options can be exercised any time before the expiration date of the option, while European options can only be exercised on the expiration date (also known as exercise date). Exercising an option means utilizing the right to buy or the sell the underlying security. What is a call option? Call options provide the option buyer with the right to buy an underlying security at the strike price. The buyer of a call option is bullish and wants the price of the stock to go up. Conversely, the option seller (or writer) has to sell the underlying security to the option buyer, at the strike price, in the event that the stock's market price is above the strike price at expiration. An option writer who sells a call option believes that the underlying stock's price will drop or stay the same relative to the option's strike price during the life of the option, as that is how they will reap maximum profit. The writer's maximum profit is the premium received when selling the option. If the buyer is right, and the stock rises above the strike price, the buyer will be able to acquire the stock for a lower price (strike price) and then sell it for a profit at the current market price. However, if the underlying stock is not above the strike price on the expiration date, the option buyer loses the premium paid for the call option. What is a put option? Put options give the option buyer the right but not the obligation to sell the underlying at the strike price. The put buyer is bearish and wants the stock to go down. The opposite is true for a put option writer who writes a put option believing that the underlying stock's price will stay the same or increase over the life of the option. If the underlying stock's price closes above the specified strike price on the expiration date, the put option writer's maximum profit is achieved. They get to keep the entire premium. Conversely, a put option buyer benefits from a fall in the underlying stock's price below the strike price. If the underlying stock's price falls below the strike price, the put option writer is obliged to purchase shares of the underlying stock at the strike price. The put option buyer's profit, if applicable, is calculated by taking the Strike Price – (Current market price + Premium paid). This is then multiplied by 100 (if each contract is 100 shares) and the number of contracts bought.

Tom Hardy Traps Workout Secret for BIGGER TRAPS NOW!

05:43
More than just bigger traps - http://athleanx.com/x/tomhardytraps One of the most overlooked muscles when it comes to direct training, or at least correct direct training is the traps or trapezius muscles. Regardless of what traps workout you're following, perhaps nobody personifies the kind of towering traps that you can get with the right traps workout than Batman and Warrior actor Tom Hardy. The guy literally looks like he is smuggling sandbags in his upper back and neck! But how did he develop such an impressive set of huge traps? From doing trap exercises the right way...by contracting the traps on every rep of shrugs and not just lifting the bar from point A to point B. There is a huge difference in the activation of the traps muscles when you simply lift your shoulders upwards during a shrug and when you contract and pinch your shoulder blades back at the same time that you lift. Watch the demonstration in this video and see how much more active the traps muscles are when this is done correctly and how much more effective you can make your traps workout if you start doing them this way. Also remember that when you're performing your shrugs, it's always better to do slightly less weight and use dumbbells to ensure a good contraction in your traps than it is to use a barbell, and get blocked from reaching full contraction. You'll see much better results from your workouts if you do. Speaking of workouts, if you're looking for a complete workout program that makes sure you don't miss out on any of the important elements of training, then head over to http://athleanx.com and get celebrity trainer Jeff Cavaliere's ATHLEAN-X Training System! The UPPER Chest Solution (GET FULLER PECS!)

13:18
Build an Athletic Chest - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW The upper chest is an area that a lot of guys struggle to develop. In this video, I’m going to show you how to get fuller pecs by putting the science back in 8 exercises for the upper chest. If you adhere to the principle of following the fibers, you will see how it is possible to add muscle to the upper portion of your chest much more quickly. It starts with a bit of anatomy of the upper pecs. This area of the chest has attachments at the clavicle and the humerus or upper arm bone. The most important point however is that the direction of the fibers in this area run from up and in to down and out. In other words, when your arm is placed at your side and away from your body, the upper chest is responsible for bringing it up and across your body at an angle. If you adhere to the direction of these fibers and mimic the movement in your chest exercises, you will more effectively hit the upper chest. The fact that the upper pecs have a separate nerve innervation than the rest of the pec major allows you to neurologically target the area even more with a better focus and contraction. We all know that the incline bench press is an exercise that targets the upper chest. That said, there are limitations to this movement that prevent it from being the best move to hit this area. If you can incorporate adduction into the movement as well, then you would be able to get a better chest contraction. The most important consideration for determining the effectiveness of the other upper chest exercise options is the orientation of the arms during the movement. Are the arms moving up and in and if so, then you are likely hitting the upper fibers of the chest better. Here I show you a few bodyweight chest exercises like the upper chest dip and the pushaway pushups. Each of these are performed with the arms placed in front of the body to effectively hit the upper chest more. The one armed dumbbell shrug is an exercise that shortens the moment arm of the pecs and allows you to use heavier weights to hit the upper chest. You can opt instead for lighter weights and a greater range of motion by doing the landmine rainbows. Either way, you will see that the direction of the arm is the same. Any time you want to target the upper pecs more than the lower you have to bring the arms from the low and away position to a up and in placement. Of course, training the upper chest alone is a recipe for an imbalanced physique. Athletes know that they need to balance out their entire body by training every muscle like it matters. If you want to train like an athlete, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Build a ripped chest and a muscular upper and lower body while still maximizing your ability to move and function. Giants exercise contract options on lefties Bumgarner, Moore. SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Madison Bumgarner's $12 million option for the 2018 season has been exercised by the San Francisco Giants, who are determined to keep a talented rotation intact as the club looks to bounce back from a last-place season. The Giants locked up Bumgarner long-term in April 2012 on a $35.56 million, six-year contract through this year. The deal includes another $12 million option for 2019. Bumgarner missed nearly three months this past season following a dirt bike accident during an off day in Colorado on April 20.

Get Big Biceps (AVOID THESE 5 MISTAKES!)

06:35
Build big ripped biceps by training like this… http://athleanx.com/x/get-athletic-arms If you want to get big biceps you’ll definitely have to do plenty of bicep curls. As a matter of fact, biceps workouts are known for their lack of originality when it comes to the exercises options you have for growing them. Almost every single bicep exercise involves some sort of a curl, whether you do them with cables, dumbbells or barbells. That said, regardless of which piece of equipment you use to do your bicep curls, I’m going to show you 5 big bicep mistakes you want to avoid if you want to get bigger arms fast. In this video, I cover five fixes you can start making in your very next bicep workout. To recap what these fixes are to help you get bigger biceps with dumbbells, I’ll list them out here in order. 1. Be sure to supinate while you are curling not before you curl. Too often, people initiate a dumbbell curl by twisting their wrists and supinating their forearms without having started the bicep curl. This is not helping you to train your bicep muscle fully. If you want to get big biceps you need to supinate the wrists while the dumbbell is being lifted. 2. Use a shift grip if you want to increase your bicep contraction at the top. If you find that you cannot generate enough of a forceful contraction of your biceps at the top of your curl, then shift to a shift grip. This grip requires that you slide your hand all the way up against the thumb side of the dumbbell. This forces you to twist with more force at end of each bicep dumbbell curl. 3. Be sure to slowly lower the dumbbells and not just drop them. It is the easiest thing to remind people, but it’s the one they forget the most. If you want to grow bigger biceps you have to slow down your eccentrics. The nice advantage of eccentric bicep training is that there is practically no risk of bodily harm by doing it (unlike the risk associated with doing it on a bench press or squat). 4. Don’t always perform dumbbell curls in alternating fashion. Let’s face it. It’s easier to do dumbbell curls if you alternate right and left sides. The reason is, that it takes half the stabilization strength of your core and lower body to do a single rep. That said, if your biceps are truly a weak spot of yours, use the alternating style to fully concentrate on your bicep contraction and grow bigger biceps before moving back to the dual form. 5. Don’t forget to curl up to your nose for bigger biceps. Your biceps fully contract when you perform not just elbow flexion but shoulder flexion as well. Curl the weight up to shoulder height and beyond to make sure you are fully contracting the long head of the biceps. As you can see, if you want to get big arms and biceps in particular you have to do curls and you have to do them right. Fix your bicep workout by avoiding these 5 big mistakes and then head to http://athleanx.com to get your complete athletic muscle building system - ATHLEAN-X. This classification helps the trader to decide which strike to trade, given a particular circumstance in the market. However before we get into the details, I guess it makes sense to look through the concept of intrinsic value again. The intrinsic value of an option is the money the option buyer makes from an options contract provided he has the right to exercise that option on the given day.

Options Trading For Dummies (Understand The Stock Options Market) How do trade options? Is options trading really that difficult? #optionstrading #options #stockmarket 1:24 What is an option? 4:07 Call Options 7:22 Benefits of trading options 8:51 Put Options 10:49 Call Options Vs. Put Options A while back I did a video telling how I made $72k from trading Tesla options and people were really interested in the options trading market. Options are divided into "call" and "put" options. With a call option, the buyer of the contract purchases the right to buy the underlying asset in the future at a predetermined price, called exercise price or strike price. With a put option, the buyer acquires the right to sell the underlying asset in the future at the predetermined price. In this video, I'll talk more about the options trading market and how you can actually understand it once and for all. Keep in mind that this is a beginner video and for you to really understand and benefit from options trading you need to dive even deeper. But we all need to take that first step. Employee Stock Options

03:31
http://www.Options-Trading-Education.com - Employee Stock Options Employee stock options can dilute the value of the stock of a company. The current example is the recent initial public offering by LinkedIn. The company went public last week. A concern going into the first day was that LinkedIn has a large number of employee stock options outstanding. This is common in Silicon Valley firms as it allows the companies to attract outstanding young talent for a lower wage that they otherwise might have to pay. The attraction is that if the company does well, like Google, Microsoft, or recently LinkedIn the stock options can become very valuable. The problem for stock investors is that as employees cash in their stock options it can represent a substantial drag on cash flow. In the case of LinkedIn estimates are that outstanding employee stock options amount to nearly a fifth of the value of the company! For those interested in standard options trading how to trade stock options includes keeping track of employee stock options and their potential to dilute stock value. What are stock options worth on LinkedIn? Trading in standard options on the stock will start shortly. Apparently stock investors took little notice of the large number of outstanding employee stock options at LinkedIn as first day trading rose as high as 140% over its opening price. When standard options trading opens in a few days, traders will assess the likelihood of a further rise in stock price versus a correction after the initial excitement. Options trading of LinkedIn may be a more risk free endeavor than directly buying or selling the stock. The buyer of a call or put contract on this stock will be under no obligation to exercise the options contract and will only do so in the event that the stock price moves as he expects. By trading options on the stock the options trader will be able to leverage his investment as he need only pay the premium need to buy a put or call on the stock. Should he succeed in anticipating a large price swing the options trader need only exercise the opposite trade in order to profitably exit his options contract. As such he will never pay the price of the stock. Those holding employee stock options are essentially holding call options except that they have paid the premium on the contract by working for the company. Unlike call contracts employee stock options typically do not have an expiration date. Thus the employee can wait for months or years until he or she decides to cash in on a high stock price or take a partial payment in the form of stock options in order to make an unrelated purchase. Standard options traders will want to watch when the principals of the company choose to exercise stock options as they may well do so when they expect the stock price to fall. When to buy puts on LinkedIn may be just as the last anxious investor antes up his hard earned cash in hopes of a continued rally. It may also be when all of the officers and large holders of employee stock options choose to exercise their rights and take cash. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91978PNmHGE

CRYPTOCOIN INSURANCE - [Project Overview]

04:03
Options are a financial derivative sold by an option writer to an option buyer. The contract offers the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy (call option) or sell (put option) the underlying asset at an agreed-upon price during a certain period of time or on a specific date. The agreed upon price is called the strike price. There are many option types. One options can be exercised any time before the expiration date of the option, while other options can only be exercised on the expiration date (exercise date). Exercising means utilizing the right to buy or the sell the underlying security. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ⚡ WEB: http://ccin.io ⚡ WHITEPAPER: http://ccin.io/doc/Whitepapereng.pdf ⚡ TELEGRAM: https://t.me/ccin_official ⚡ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/ccin_official ⚡ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/ccinofficial ⚡ MEDIUM: https://medium.com/@ccin_official ⚡ ANN: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4948618 :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: 🐦My Bitcointalk Username: korolev3245137 🐦My Bitcointalk URL: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1952926 🐦My ETH Address: 0x4C8a59eA64760fC276Ec8472B39C542eA20E686E 🐦My Telegram: @korolev32

Share Count Confusion: Dilution, Employee Options and Multiple Share Classes!

23:21
Getting from aggregate equity value to value per share should be a simple exercise, where you divide total value by number of shares outstanding. That process gets complex when you expect your company to issue more shares in the future to cover operating/investing needs or to cover employee option exercises, and when different classes of shares have different voting rights. In this session, I use my Tesla valuation from June 2018 to illustrate how to incorporate these factors to get a per share value in an intrinsic valuation, while highlighting what I believe are bad practices in dealing with them. What Are Stock Options? - What Is A Stock Option?

08:07
http://www.optionsizzle.com What are Stock Options? I was recently asked this question by a visitor to my web site, You may have seen the term "stock options" in the financial section while scanning the news. Or perhaps, you've encountered the term as an employee and were offered stock options in your company. So, what are stock options? Can these options be used to your advantage? Yes! There are two different types of stock options. Let me help you understand the difference. VISIT OptionSIZZLE.com FOR OUR 5 STEP FORMULA TO MORE PROFITABLE OPTION TRADES http://www.OptionSIZZLE.com SUBSCRIBE TO THE YOUTUBE CHANNEL! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=optionsizzle LET'S CONNECT! Facebook ► http://facebook.com/optionsizzle Twitter ► http://twitter.com/optionsizzle OptionSIZZLE ► http://www.optionsizzle.com Google+ ► http://gplus.to/optionsizzle What Are Stock Options -- Employee Stock Option (ESO) An Employee Stock Option (ESO) is a type of non-cash compensation that is typically issued to management as part of an executive compensation package. Technically, an ESO is classified as a non-standardized option because it has several differences from an exchange traded option. The reason companies offer this type of compensation to management is because it provides management with incentive to run the business well. The stock of a well managed company with good growth potential is likely to rise, rewarding the management team. Here are some differences between an ESO and an exchange traded option: 1) An ESO is may not be traded. That means that cannot be bought or sold in the open market on any kind of exchange. An ESO is strictly issued from the company to the employee. 2) The quantity of the ESO is determined by the company and is not standardized like an exchange traded option. The strike price or exercise price is usually the price of the company stock. 3) The duration of an ESO varies and it can be many years to expiration, unlike an exchange traded option that has a shorter life span to expiration. What Are Stock Options -- Exchange Traded Options An Exchange Traded Option is a standardized contract that is traded over the counter on a specific exchange. Standardized means that there is a standard set of rules governing the trading of that exchange traded option. These are the types of options that you will typically only have access to since they are traded on an exchange and available to the public. 1) Unlike an ESO, one standardized option contract represents one hundred shares. So if I bought one Apple (AAPL) option contract, I would actually control one hundred shares of that stock. If I decided to exercise that contract, then I would be purchasing one hundred shares of stock for every one option contract I exercised. 2) There are two types of standardized option contracts. You can be a buyer or a seller of an option and each gives you specific rights or obligations. To keep it simple in the example below, I will explain only the concept of buying the two types of options. A call option gives you the right to buy the underlying asset (stock or future) at a set strike price. It is a right and not an obligation. You pay a premium or deposit for the option contract which gives you the right to own the stock at a set price on or before a set date. When you buy a call option, you expect the price of the underlying asset to go higher in order for the option contract to become profitable. What you have at risk is only the premium that you paid for the option contract. So, in the case of purchasing a home, you would put down a deposit to show the seller you were a serious buyer. If a few days later a tornado destroyed the house, you would lose only your deposit amount and not the full value of the home. I know there are probably ways to get your deposit back, but I wanted to give you a visual.

How to Get a Strong Low Back | DO THIS EVERY DAY!

09:42
If you have back pain, particularly if you spend a large portion of the day sitting, then you will want to watch this video. I’m going to show you something you can do every day to get a strong low back and start getting rid of the pain that can keep you from your workouts at the least and be disabling at its worst. Your game plan for getting a stronger lower back starts with the most important exercise of all, the deadlift. This compound push/pull exercise forms the foundation of any good lifting program. It is perhaps the most functional exercise outside of the squat and is one that you need to master if you want to build a strong and powerful physique. The issue with the deadlift is that, if done properly, it lacks the concentric shortening cycle for the lumbar paraspinals (the muscles most often weak when low back pain is present) having instead a heavy reliance on isometric strength of these muscles. The deadlift is not a back extension movement but rather a hip driving or hip extension and glute firing movement. The lower back is instead held in a slight arch with an isometric contraction of the lumbar spinal muscles and maintained throughout the bar’s ride to the top. If you do this exercise incorrectly you will be using far too much low back, which is not equipped to hold the amount of weight that is usually used on a deadlift. You need the support of the legs and the incredibly strong muscles of the hips and glutes to drive this movement. That said, there is a small percentage of concentric shortening of the low back muscles that occurs at the top of the lift (not over extension mind you, just at the top as you reach vertical). This accounts for a small percentage of the weight lifted. Because of this, you would have to be deadlifting in the neighborhood of around 500 pounds in order to get an appreciable effect on the concentric overload of the low back. Even then however, the deadlift is not something that you would normally perform on a daily basis, meaning that you would need some other options of things to do on non deadlifting days to keep your lower back getting incredibly strong. This is where the kettlebell swing comes in. This exercise is also a hip hinge movement that is performed with much lighter weight than the deadlift. The benefit is however that it is a conditioning exercise that could fit in perfectly on your non weight training days and can be done for longer time to give you an endurance benefit and the volume needed to train the area properly. That is not enough either though. This is where you want a staple strength training exercise that can be performed on push days or even leg days that can give you even more overload. This is where the weighted hyperextension comes in most effectively. This is the best exercise for taking the lumbar paraspinals from an elongated position to a shortened position to fully train them through their full range of motion. The big key here is not to do the hyper part of hyperextension. It isn’t necessary. You simply want to contract until your spine is in a neutral position, hold for a contraction and then return. Finally, even on non-training days you can and should work on some corrective exercises for your deficiencies. If you have a weak low back, you should explore the use of a couple sets of either high hip bucks or bodyweight supermans just to engage and awaken the muscles of the low back with low intensity but additional volume. Over the course of time, the use of all of these strategies gives you a daily attack plan that will create an incredibly strong low back and help you to get over most if not all of the back pain you may be having from having let your back get this weak in the first place. If you are looking for a complete workout program that lays out the right sets, reps and volumes to help you get a strong low back and want to start training like an athlete today, head to the link below and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Slumped Posture (NO) Bigger Biceps (YES!!)

Get Ripped in 90 Days - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW If you have rounded shoulders or a slumped posture then you are going to want to watch this video to see how building bigger biceps can fix this. Here I’m demonstrating how the biceps actually work in concert with the muscles of the shoulder that help to externally rotate the arm into a better position to keep you more upright. It is very important to understand the anatomy of the muscles you are trying to train when you work out. The reason for this is that it allows you to perform certain exercises that might not seem all that helpful at first glance for a purpose you would have never expected. That is the case when it comes to the options of biceps exercises. Bicep exercises like the hammer curl and even cross body curls actually do the opposite of what you want them to do. While they are good at building the brachialis they are not as good at building the biceps. At the same time, you perform these exercises with a great deal of internal shoulder rotation which will contribute to poor posture long term. You may not think that there is anything that serious about having rounded shoulders other than the way it looks. This is incorrect. Having internally rotated shoulders is one of the fastest ways to injure yourself in the gym since performing exercises overhead with this posture is likely to cause inflammation and breakdown in the structures of the shoulder. Here I show you an exercise called the no money curl that requires only a single pair of dumbbells and a wall for feedback to make sure you are doing this properly. The exercise gets its name from the position of the hands at the top of the curl. It looks as if you are saying to someone that you have no money if they asked you for some. The key is to stand up against a wall and keep the dumbbells in contact with the wall to start. Begin by contracting your biceps, supinating your forearms and curling the dumbbells up and out over the shoulders. This should occur naturally due to the carrying angle of the elbow that is anatomically in place to help us carry things at our side without bumping into them when we walk. At the top of the movement you want to actually make sure to make contact with the wall with the dumbbells. This is key. This will require a great deal of shoulder external rotation in order to do so. This is the exact movement that needs to be strengthened in order to help eliminate rounded shoulders, a slumped posture and a forward head. Hold the contraction at the top for a moment and then bring the dumbbells back down to your sides. This is a great way to build bigger biceps but at the same time, given its impact on the rotators of your shoudlers, this will help to counteract and fix bad posture as part of an overall complete workout regimen. 3 Chest Exercises You’ve NEVER Done! (CHEST WORKOUT)

04:01
Build a muscular, ripped chest by training like an athlete here http://athleanx.com/x/get-a-muscular-chest-now Are you ready to try 3 chest exercises that you’ve likely never done before? These three chest builders will fit perfectly into your chest workout and can even fit well into a home chest workout since the only things you’ll need to complete it are a barbell and a plate. Many times, those that work out at home will have an Olympic barbell set but no bench. Without the option of bench pressing, they may think that there isn’t any chest exercises that they will be able to use the barbell for. This would be true, up until this video. In this video, I show you three new chest exercises that you have likely never done that will help you to add mass to your pecs and can fit well into either your home or gym chest workout. The exercises take advantage of the fact that in order to build your chest fully you will want to hit the muscle group from all angles. The first chest exercise shared here is the landmine incline press. This barbell exercise helps to target the upper chest as you press the bar up and away from your chest. The angle of the bar in the landmine setup allows the bar to travel in an arc that is very natural for your shoulder girdle and chest. Secondly, by leaning your trunk back slightly you can lower the angle of the chest to the floor which makes this a great incline bench press alternative. The second exercise in this chest workout is the landmine crossover. This awesome chest exercise is a great replacement for a cable crossover machine. By doing this, you are able to really contract your chest in its peak contraction position (with your arm horizontally adducted across your body). Additionally, you’re able to get a nice smooth arc that moves upward and inward to more closely mimic the fibers of the sternal fibers of the pecs. Finally, the crush grip pushup is a cool way to perform pushups that allow you an opportunity to get adduction on the pecs at the same time that you are performing the exercise. Most pushups don’t allow you to squeeze your pecs at the top of the exercise for the mere fact that your hands are fixed in place on the ground and unable to move towards each other at the top of the movement. With the crush grip chest exercise you are able to amp up the intensity of your chest workouts by including this often overlooked but important element of chest contraction. The key to building a big chest at home is to look for chest workouts that do more than just provide your pecs with the same old stimulus you’re used to. Sure, bench presses are an incredibly important component of a great chest workout. That said, always doing the same chest exercises without adding in new ways to challenge your chest is likely to have you in a rut fairly quickly. Try these three chest exercises the next time you do your chest workout at home or in the gym, and you’re sure to feel your muscles contracting and working like they haven’t in a long time. For a complete training system that removes the excuses from training at home or at a gym, be sure to head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Build a ripped, muscular, athletic looking chest in the next 90 days. The quest for ripped 6 pack abs has been going on since the age of cave man (maybe not quite that long but it's be a while). I take the Flex Belt for a test drive to see if this thing can give you the ripped six pack you have always wanted or if this is just another fitness scam that will only reduce your wallet. Can this simple black belly blasting belt give you the chiseled six pack of your dreams or is it a scam? Aaron Marino of alpha m. was contacted by Flex Belt to give a review. He has seen ab toning super products for years. He has never tried to them because he's chalked them up to BS. This is Alpha's chance to take it for a test drive to see if his assumptions are correct or if he's been missing out. There were no strings attached! About EMS Systems There have been a ton EMS systems (Electric Muscle Stimulator) ranging from therapy to rehab situations. An electrode is connected to the muscle to give it juice and cause it to contract. Over the years, the systems got in trouble with the FDA: the products didn't stimulate a *hot turd* and were being sold as a weight loss, side reducing wonder product. The Flex Belt got FDA clearance for ab toning, firming, and strengthening. How it works Essentially, you have an adjustable belt, electrodes, replaceable pads, and a battery pack. After putting it on, set the program (1 -10) and increase the intensity levels (1 -150). Alpha started feeling it on program 5 / intensity 30. He starts getting ballsy from there-- he cranks it up. Contractions last 2 seconds with relaxation for 5 seconds for 30 minutes. He used it for 1 week and has been really sore (mainly his obliques). Does the belt work? The muscle engages and contracts causing toning and firming. Your abs will strengthened and toned. To get to see your abs, however, you need a healthy diet with cardio to get rid of your layer of fat. It's not a shortcut; it's something to add. It would be great to supplement to an ab workout in the gym. Flex Belt is a great product, and he's glad Flex Belt contacted him!

Best Way to do Pushups (FOR A BIGGER CHEST!)

04:25
Over 25 pushup variations included in our bodyweight program here… http://athleanx.com/x/zero-equipment-needed The pushup is definitely one of the best (and only) options for building a big chest when training at home. That said, most of us don’t do this bodyweight exercise as effectively as we can be, which is costing us a chance to build the biggest chest or pecs that we can. In this video, I show you the best way to do pushups for a bigger chest by making just one small but important change to the way you do them. To begin, it is important to understand what the function of the chest muscles are in the first place. We are all familiar with their ability to push our arms away from our body as in a bench press. That said, given the orientation of the fibers of the chest, it is actually more important for the pecs to pull your arm across your chest into what is called horizontal adduction. This motion occurs most visibly in exercises like cable crossovers and even dumbbell flyes. That said, especially for athletes, flyes present a risk/reward ratio that isn’t necessarily optimal or even necessary if performed with the arms too far out in an attempt to maximize chest stretch. Even Arnold himself tore his pecs twice during the pec fly while chasing that elusive extra stretch he felt the exercise was providing him. That said, the portion of the horizontal adduction that we should be chasing the most is the end contraction. This comes when are hands are positioned in front of our chests and at or crossing over midline if possible. Now when it comes to pushups, you can immediately see that because our hands are fixed into the ground that it is impossible to actually move them closer together as we complete each rep. That doesn’t mean that we can’t simulate the movement however to engage the chest in a much stronger contraction. As I show you here, you want to be sure that when you come up to the top of each push up, you attempt to pull the hands closer to each other (though they won’t move since they are pressed into the ground) and then turn your forearms away from you. This second part can be accomplished by trying to envision your biceps turning towards the front as you come up. Both of these moves act to fire up the pec muscles even more and get a much stronger contraction on each pushup than you would otherwise get. Simply counting reps when doing push ups is not what is important if you are trying to build muscle at home with this chest exercise. You want to focus on increasing the number of quality reps you perform. The quality means everything. Get a stronger contraction on your pecs and you will be rewarded with better development and chest growth when working out at home (or wherever you decide to incorporate these tips). For a complete bodyweight only workout program that you can do without the need for any equipment at all, be sure to head to http://athleanx.com/xero and get the ATHLEAN XERO program. This muscle building bodyweight only workout is the fastest way to deliver muscle growth when training without equipment or access to a gym.
