WEBULL: "Get a FREE STOCK just for signing up!" 💰 http://ryanoscribner.com/webull In this video we will be talking about index funds and exchange traded funds or ETF's. Here are the index funds or ETF's that I recommend investing in. I recommend investing in Vanguard index funds. Vanguard index funds have some of the lowest expense ratios in the industry. While it may not seem like a lot, high expense funds could be costing you a significant amount of money in the long run. It is important to consider the expense ratio of any fund you invest in. Mutual funds typically have a much higher expense ratio compared to index funds. Here are the Vanguard index funds I recommend! This is the ETF listing as well as the index fund listing. 1. Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF ($VTI) 2. Vanguard Total International Stock ETF ($VXUS) 3. Vanguard Total World Stock ETF ($VT) 4. Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund ($VTSAX) 5. REITs, or real estate investment trusts, were created by Congress in 1960 to give all individuals the opportunity to benefit from investing in income-producing real estate. REITs allow anyone to own or finance properties the same way they invest in other industries, through the purchase of stock. In the same way shareholders benefit by owning stocks in other corporations, the stockholders of a REIT earn a share of the income produced through real estate investment, without actually having to go out and buy or finance property. This video provides some insight into what REITs are and how they work. The REIT industry has a diverse profile, which offers many benefits. REITs often are classified in one of two categories: Equity REITs or Mortgage REITs. Equity REITs own a wide range of property types including offices, shopping centers, hotels, apartments and much more. Equity REITs derive most of their revenue from rent on those properties. Mortgage REITs may finance both residential and commercial properties. Mortgage REITs get most of their revenue from interest earned on their investments in mortgages or mortgage backed securities. In addition, REITs may be publicly registered with the SEC and have their shares listed and traded on major stock exchanges, or they may be publicly registered with the SEC but not have their shares listed or traded on major stock exchanges, or they may be private companies (not registered with the SEC and not having their shares listed or traded on a stock exchange. Regardless of the type, REITs operate under a specific set of rules established by Congress. A REIT is an entity that: • is modeled after mutual funds • is treated by the Internal Revenue Code as a corporation • must be widely held by shareholders • must primarily own or finance real estate, and • must own its real estate with a longterm investment horizon. The IRS implements the REIT rules and oversees what qualifies as a REIT. The Internal Revenue Code requires a REIT to adhere to the following essential rules: at least 75 percent of the corporation's income must be earned from real estate as rent, real estate interest or from the sales of real estate assets; at least 75 percent of the corporation's assets must be real estate assets; and, at least 95 percent of income must be passive. REITs are required to distribute at least 90 percent of taxable income annually to shareholders as taxable dividends. In other words, a REIT cannot retain its earnings. Like a mutual fund, a REIT receives a dividends-paid deduction so no tax is paid at the entity level if 100 percent of income is distributed. REIT shareholders pay taxes on dividends at ordinary rates versus the lower qualified rate. Over time, REITs and the rules and regulations that govern them have evolved to meet the changing needs of the real estate industry and the broader economy. But throughout that process, REITs have remained true to the mission laid out by Congress in 1960: to make the benefits of income-producing real estate accessible to anyone and everyone. And that's still how they work today. By Mitch Irzinski

What is a mutual fund? Learn more at: https://www.wallstreetsurvivor.com A mutual fund is a professionally managed investment vehicle that pools money from many investors to purchase securities (stocks, bonds, money market instruments etc.). A money manager then decides how the funds are invested so you don’t have to – but you pay for it. A mutual fund’s management and operational fees, known as the management expense ration (MER), are deducted from the return on your investment. While it is tempting to think that a mutual fund is a hedge fund…it’s also incorrect. Mutual funds aren’t hedge funds because mutual funds can be sold to the general public - unlike hedge funds. There are many kinds of mutual funds: Specialty funds that focus on particular market sector (energy, health, etc.) Index funds (which track a market index like the S&P 500) Real estate funds

Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) President and CEO Steve Hawkins provides his take on the current state of the cannabis market. Hawkins is still bullish about cannabis stocks and believes the recent Altria Inc (NYSE:MO)-Cronos Group Inc (TSE:CRON) (NASDAQ:CRON) (FRA:7CI) deal is just one of many potential industry catalysts; however, he also notes that equity markets are currently extremely volatile. Hawkins describes the performance of the Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF (TSE:HMMJ) (OTCMKTS:HMLSF), which Horizons ETFs Management launched last year. He notes that while the ETF is down 15 percent since October, it slightly outperformed the top five Canadian cannabis companies, and remains a viable option for investors looking to enter the space. Hawkins praises the Canadian Securities Exchange for becoming the “cannabis exchange of the world.” ************************ Check out our website: https://midasletter.com ************************ SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterYoutube SUBSCRIBE to our Newsletter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterNewsletter Download Our Podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterPodcast ************************ Follow Us on Twitter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterTwitter Like Us on Instagram: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterInsta Like Us on Facebook: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterFacebook ************************

https://goo.gl/QPCkqk - Start earning with binary options like millions of traders do The iShares MSCI USA Minimum Volatility (NYSEARCA: USMV) exchange-traded fund (ETF) was created in 2011 to track the performance of the MSCI USA Minimum Volatility Index, which is composed of equities traded on U.S. stock exchanges that have lower volatility when compared to the broader U.S. equity market. As of August 2015, the ETF has generated an average annual rate of return of 15.7% since its inception, and the total return over the past year is approximately 10.4%. The selection process for the MSCI USA Minimum Volatility Index starts with the MSCI USA Index and follows specific rules to determine the weightings of the securities that produce the lowest possible total risk. USMV employs a passive investment approach by using a representative sampling methodology to mirror the investment results of the MSCI USA Minimum Volatility Index. The principle components of the fund include health care, consumer staples and technology stocks. How It Tracks It The ETF invests only in U.S. equities and allocates 32% to giant-market cap companies, while large- and mid-market cap companies account for 46% and 22% of the fund's invested assets, respectively. The fund has 164 companies in its portfolio, while the underlying index contains 639 stocks. Historically, the fund's holdings were tilted toward the health care, financials and technology sectors. Health care companies alone have 20% of its holdings. Financial and technology companies account for 18% and 15% of USMV's portfolio, respectively. Holdings from the consumer staples sector have 14% allocation. Other industries with allocation below 10% include utilities, consumer discretionary, industrials and materials. The fund is well-diversified, and no single company in USMV's portfolio accounts for more than 2%. The top five holdings of the fund account for about 7% and include companies such as AT&T Inc., McDonald's Corp., Verizon Communications Inc., PepsiCo Inc. and Public Storage REIT. The top 10 holdings of the company have 14% allocation. Since its inception, USMV has tracked the investment results of the underlying index within a tracking error of under 0.50%. The fund's managers expect USMV's tracking error will not exceed 5%, which may arise as a result of transaction costs, pricing differences and the fund's fees and expenses. Management USMV is managed by BlackRock Fund Advisors, which is a privately owned investment manager formerly known as Barclays Global Fund Advisors. It is a subsidiary of BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A., which is part of BlackRock, Inc., a multinational investment management corporation based in New York City. BlackRock Fund Advisors manages various equity, fixed-income, commodity and currency exchange-traded mutual funds. Characteristics USMV was started on Oct. 18, 2011 by BlackRock Fund Advisors and uses an indexing investment strategy by selecting stocks that produce investment results similar to those of the underlying index. The ETFs were created by Direxion Asset Management to track bitcoin futures trading. While they are not tied to the price of bitcoin itself, the funds aim to multiply investor returns when compared to the underlying market, the filing said.. The instruments, named 1.25X Bull Fund, 1.5X Bull Fund, and 2X Bull Fund, will leverage "investment results (before fees and expenses) that correlate positively to either 125%, 150%, or 200% the daily return of the target benchmark," the filing said.. For each fund, that means a 1 percent rise in the price of bitcoin futures should result in a per-share gain of between 1.25 percent and 2 percent, depending on which Bull Fund is used. However, the potential for higher rewards also comes with higher risk: If the price of bitcoin falls, investors' losses would be multiplied by 1.25.. As such, the funds are not intended for long-term investing, the filing said. The NYSE has issued several filings related to the bitcoin market, including for bitcoin-related ETFs, with the SEC.. If the SEC approves this request, the five ETFs will be listed on Arca, a secondary marketplace on the NYSE. The news was first reported by Business Insider and Reuters.. The NYSE's move comes after two of its rival exchanges, the Cboe and the CME, won approval to list bitcoin futures.. The buzz around bitcoin and its competing digital currencies exploded in 2017, driving a 1,300 percent annual gain in the price of bitcoin. Asset managers have been racing to design more than 10 proposals for bitcoin funds that are currently before U.S. regulators.. New ETFs could make access to bitcoin easier and, in the case of the Direxion product, mean bigger stakes for investors.. The NYSE did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for comment..

Gold prices were on fire Wednesday, rebounding from losses made in the wake of stronger than expected U.S. inflation data. Kitco News caught up with Maxwell Gold of ETF Securities. “What sparked gold’s price move today is the increase in inflation. I think that is boosting inflation expectations, and I think that’s giving some consideration into what the Fed is going to do this year,” Gold told Kitco News. He added that higher inflation expectations provide tailwinds for all cyclical commodities, not just gold. Spot gold was up 1.4 percent at $1,349.94 an ounce at 1:05 p.m. EST. The ETF Securities director said that despite recent turbulence in the markets and with commodity prices, gold’s current rally can be sustained due to other macroeconomic factors. “Beyond the inflation factor, we’re seeing the dollar remain weaker,” he said, “I think that we are structurally in a dollar bear market and I think that it could boost gold prices in this range.” The dollar initially rose after the morning's inflation report which showed U.S. consumer prices rose more than expected in January. The market expert added that should we see more equities volatility, gold could spike upward to the $1,400 range. ________________________________________________________________ Kitco News is the world’s #1 source of metals market information. KITCO NEWS -- Gold prices saw a boost late last week following the September Federal Open Market Committee meeting, which saw the central bank leave U.S. interest rates unchanged. Despite the metal’s corrective pullback Monday, one research director says gold may be setting itself up for further gains post the Fed decision. December gold futures were last quoted down 0.5% at $1,132.10 an ounce. In an interview with Kitco News, Mike McGlone of ETF Securities said many bearish factors that have been weighing on the yellow metal may now have disappeared. 'Many of the bearish drivers for gold appear to have shifted or reached extremes including: the record setting stock market rally, overly optimistic Fed tightening expectations, the strong US dollar and the substantial decline in crude oil prices,' he said Monday afternoon. McGlone added that he is not surprised the Fed did not raise rates since the economy is not ready to withstand tightening. 'The primary reason for the Fed to raise rates is to suppress inflation and inflation expectations but the greater risks remain towards disinflation or deflation. Declining commodities, declining stock prices and the strong US dollar are deflationary forces,' he continued. According to the research director, it may also be good for gold investors to look closely at the U.S. stock markets' next moves because, based on historical data, the metal may be poised for some gains. 'When gold peaked in 2011, it was near $1,900/oz. while at the same time the S&P 500 bottomed near 1,200. Now in 2015, gold is near $1,200 and the S&P 500 is near 1,900. The levels basically transposed since 2011. The risk is that these markets continue to revert- potentially back to near 1,600,' he noted. China shocked the markets with their currency devaluation and it definitely had a big impact on global markets. However, stocks in the Asia-Pacific region have been the hardest hit, with some losing more than 5% following the initial devaluation. Hey Guys! Alisa is back and today she is trying to figure out when and how and why and if Bitcoin will go up again or not...? Reading the news this is what I found out... Watch the video and give me your opinion and ofc correct me if I am wrong. PS: here are my notes and the links I found the info on: * If the SEC provides an approval for the ETFs, it means that there will be a green light to mainstream investment in altcoins as well. This decision could help trillions of dollars enter the crypto market and help the price of Bitcoin find a new all time high. ( https://usethebitcoin.com/bitcoin-etf-may-be-a-reality-on-august-10th-will-bitcoin-start-a-bull-run-soon/) *The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is a U.S. government agency that prevent fraud https://searchfinancialsecurity.techtarget.com/definition/Securities-and-Exchange-Commission *ETF = exchange-traded fund. *an ETF trades like a common stock on a stock exchange. ETFs experience price changes throughout the day as they are bought and sold. *New Starbucks partnership with Microsoft allows customers to pay for Frappuccinos with bitcoin * Starbucks is partnering with Microsoft on a new cryptocurrency platform called Bakkt FOR consumer use. * "It's very big news for bitcoin because people say where can you spend it? Now at every single Starbucks," *Bakkt= a new company that will enable consumers and institutions to buy, sell, store and spend cryptocurrencies on the global network by November. *The platform with convert bitcoin and other cryptocoins into U.S. dollars Thanks for watching :)

Best Stock Broker Canada 2018 is here to help you pick the right stock broker for you. I made a Best Broker of 2018 for my USA viewers, but my Canadian viewers don't have the same options and I cover ALL your options here in this video. So #1 we have Questrade Inc. Pros: -Excellent customer service -Decent Mobile app -no account fees -Easy to open and setup account -Commission of 1c/share with 4.95/trade minimum and 9.99 max Cons: -minimum balance of $1000 -24.95/quarter inactivity fee if you hold less than $5000 -Not good for charting or research unless you purchase the trading platform Questrade is probably the best broker available to Canadians - there are fees for lower account balances but they have a competitive commission structure and excellent customer service. The #2 pick is QTrade. Pros: -Good option for young investors -$7.75/trade -under $25000 account balance, quarterly fee is waived -Requirements: -An offer for investors aged 18 to 30 -To qualify, simply add $50 or more a month to a Qtrade Investor account by setting up automatic pre-authorized contributions. Cons: -Not available to everyone -Need to keep adding in $50 a month to be eligible, but can't exceed $25000 to still use commission structure QTrade is a good option for those that want to get started in investing but don't meet Questrade's $1000 minimum. The no quarterly fees under 25000 account is good to keep more savings in your pocket. However once your account grows to close to 25000, I would consider switching to Questrade. Thank you for watching! Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE if you haven't done so already to support the channel - it means a lot to me!
