Early 2013 construction started in Schiedams, HSM yard in Netherlands. Topside is supported by a 4 legged, piled through the legs, jacket and bridge -linked to the existing Leman ‘A' Complex. Topside with a 2-stage LP- and a 1-stage HP gas compressor, both gas turbine driven. With ancillary’s scrubbers, coolers fuel gas treatment, EDG, Nitrogen generation skid, inhibitor injection skid.
June ’14 Platforma K reinforced a great international team in Schiedam - NL, providing a commissioning & startup offshore lead, where the offshore commissioning phase was planned and developed. Verifying all procedures, plans, tools, identifying workforce for the offshore stage, identifying Vendor Service Men their needs and requirements for the offshore commissioning phase.
July 2014 Leman was loaded out, sailed away for the southern part of the North Sea, and was installed on the UK Continental Shelf in mid-August ‘14. Directly for Shell U.K. Limited managed and delivered precommissioning completion for all LUC Offshore work scopes. Responsible for embedding the UIE safety culture into Shell personnel and vendors working on LUC activities. Responsible for the handover of commissioned plant and equipment to the Leman installation manager. Supported the creation of commissioning strategies, level 4 resource loaded plans and formal method statements that will be used in execution of start-up activities of the LUC project. Performed completions and handover activities with Leman assets. Ensuring that Leman assets have critical information they need to operate and maintain new and modified items of equipment. Managed all offshore commissioning activities in line with the plan and ensuring mobilization plan is aligned with commissioning personnel and vendors activity requirements. Liaised with onshore CSU lead and attend daily morning calls whilst offshore.
May 2015 platforma K team, on behalf of Shell U.K. limited, grove to six members, all involved in precommissioning and commissioning activities. Divided into all disciplines, each contributed to a great international team, completing system by system. Liaised between commissioning & startup offshore lead and commissioning discipline lead, supervised subcontractors, vendors, client personnel in execution safe and successful precommissioning, commissioning of various units, systems and subsystems.
Managed and delivered C&A precommissioning completion for all LUC work scopes. Were responsible for embedding the UIE safety culture into Shell, AJS and vendors working on LUC activities. Responsible for execution of precommissioning and commissioning against HS&E, schedule and quality targets. Managed Vendors and Commissioning team working on LUC C&A Systems (Yokogawa, GE, Solar, Elster, Emerson). Ensuring the Project plan is being followed and progressed accordingly. Support the Offshore CSU Lead in his role. Final commissioning and start up, and handover to operation personnel. ESD, F&G, DCS, Loop checks, C&E testing, fault finding, Mod packs implementation to ESD and F&G and subsequent C&E testing, closing out outstanding CCI’s (Commissioning Change Instruction) and CSU EQs. Completion of as-built documentation and implementing all red markups. Preparing the handover certificates. Monitoring operation system (GE and Solar power turbines, GE compressors).
Startup of Leman UC platform was in Dec ’15. A great & demanding project like this deserves great safety standards, but above all people to deliver it, and a great team it was. In these way we thank all project staff.
