Behavior Detection with Machine Learning
In this video, we demonstrate how Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business leverages machine learning to detect sophisticated threats. In attacks like these, malicious code is obfuscated in order to bypass traditional detection technologies (such as static analysis and emulation). Our Behavior Detection module, empowered by machine learning-based models, analyzes system activity in real time to reveal malicious patterns at the earliest stages of execution, even when the malware code is unknown. Here we have a system with Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business for Business running. Let’s execute this malware sample – it’s an in-the-wild downloader, packed with a custom packer. The packer itself contains the infamous DDOS Trojan known as "Nitol". Packed code is complicated. It contains many confusing instructions and calls. In some cases, packers encrypt areas of code inside the virtual machine, and decryption is possible only during virtual machine execution. Intruders often use custom packers in order to avoid static analysis and code emulation by security products. So the only way to analyze the functionality of files like this is while executing the sample. Our Threat Behavior Engine collects all the system events and related context during this execution. A machine learning-based model receives this activity data as input – and generates the risk score for this activity pattern. The risk score is then used by the Threat Behavior Engine in its behavioral heuristics to produce a verdict. We can see that our system is classifying the sequence of events unfolding as malicious. In order to create this machine learning model, we trained a deep neural network in-lab with millions of behavior samples. Now, when this machine learning model is applied on the endpoint, it classifies behavior patterns in real time. Now the Behavior Detection module tells us that this was dangerous activity, so it has terminated the process at an early stage of execution, and has deleted the malicious file. We can go to Reports now and see more details about how the malware was detected and removed. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPmbqO785HltQyUjGUVg-0hFlixFOC0qO #KasperskyLab

What Is ABA Therapy
WHAT IS ABA THERAPY ? Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science in which processes are systematically applied to improve socially significant behavior to a meaningful degree. An ABA program is a systematic teaching approach that involves breaking skills down into small, easy-to-learn steps. Praise or other rewards are used to motivate the child, and progress is continuously measured so the teaching program can be adapted as needed. ABA is endorsed for autism by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the US Surgeon General. ABA is widely recognized as the single most effective treatment for children with autism spectrum disorder and the only treatment shown to lead to significant, lasting improvements in the lives of individuals with autism. Studies have shown that children with autism who participated in intensive ABA programs showed significant improvements in IQ, language skills, and academic performance. Some children in these studies were able to move successfully to mainstream public school classes, where they can learn alongside typically developing peers. ABA based treatment strategies maximize the learning potential of persons with ASD, and are flexible, individualized and dynamic. HOW ABA WORKS - Skills are broken down into a series of manageable steps that are easier to learn - Individuals are provided multiple opportunities to practice and perfect each step of the skill - Success is rewarded with positive reinforcement, providing a high motivation for improvement - Goals are targeted to meet the needs of the individual - Progress is tracked through systematic collection and evaluation of data - Skills are taught with an eye toward their use and integration into daily life ABOUT THE ABA IN PA INITIATIVE The ABA in PA Initiative is an advocacy organization made up a parents, industry professionals, and lawmakers dedicated to change the future for all children in Pennsylvania with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by ensuring access to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy via Medical Assistance. The ABA in PA Initiative aims to bring the autism community together as one united voice to urge Pennsylvania and private sector to listen to our concerns and take immediate action to address the service gap for ABA. It is our firm belief that, working together, we can assure that our children get the care they need, when they need it! What is a Behaviour Analyst?
Please share our video: https://youtu.be/JCiKKe-tNC4 The Association for Behaviour Analysis Australia presents an informational video on "What is a Behaviour Analyst?" Visit our website www.auaba.com.au This is a brief informational video to describe professionals who are behaviour analysts. It is our hope that this video will help people to better understand the field of behaviour analysis within Australia. What is a Behaviour Analyst? A behaviour analyst uses the principals of learning and motivation to address challenging or problematic behaviours and to teach new appropriate skills across different settings. They can be found working many human services sectors such as mental health, rehabilitation, education, geriatric and business setting. It is very common to find them working with individuals with disabilities. In the field of ABA there is an internationally recognized certification, the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst or a BCBA. To become a BCBA an individual has to have a master’s degree in behaviour analysis or a related field, take specific courses on ABA and complete 1500 hours of supervised work experience. This is where the individual learns to apply the science of learning to real life problems. Once the practical supervision component is completed, the individual will then need to pass an exam. The BCBA credential indicates that the person has a level of expertise in behaviour analysis. It should be noted that there are 4 different levels of certification and the different levels would indicate the different depths of training an individual has received. At the basic level of training there is a Registered Behavioural Technician, this is an entry-level certification for people to be considered front line staff and requires only 40 hours of training. The next level is a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst or a BCaBA that requires an undergraduate degree, a few course s in behaviour analysis and 1000 hours of supervised work experience. Then there is the BCBA, which I mentioned previously, and finally a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst – Doctoral, a BCBA-D, which requires a person to have doctorate level training in behaviour analysis. Additionally anyone certified as a behaviour analyst must maintain their certification by completing continuing education events to keep current with the field of ABA. To find a list of all individuals that have a certification in behaviour analysis visit www.bacb.com Follow us: www.facebook/auaba.com.au Many thanks to Rob Nercessian for the video footage.
